Liberty grew up in Bromsgrove, surrounded by some of the most influential names in gymwear and leisurewear. Being so close to these innovative industries and people sparked a passion for fashion and business, inspiring her to pursue a degree in Fashion Management at university.
Oliver’s love for product and industrial development led him to study Product Design. Together, their complementary skills and shared vision for fashion and fitness created the perfect foundation for i-envy.

After graduating university, we were faced with a very tough job market. The idea of joining a graduate role in fashion or product design felt uninspiring, we didn’t want to be just another fish in the sea, making a limited impact. Instead, we decided to take a leap and build something of our own.
